Have you ever hand fed a Hummingbird?
You can do it. Just put some of the red nectar in your hand (or put the sugar/water nectar in a red solo cup you’ve cut the bottom out of, or a red lid from peanut butter) … and be VERY still … and patient … the first time.
After they’ve eaten from your hand the first time, they’ll readily do it again.
Hummingbird facts:
The hummingbird is the only bird that can hover and fly backwards.
It’s found only in the Americas, and is the smallest animal with a backbone.
